Reformation
This week spend time as a family connecting with God through reformation. One of the ways you can connect with God is by partnering with Him to make the crooked ways straight. He has given you a burden for the same things that are on His heart.

Scripture:
A voice cries: “In the wilderness prepare the way of the Lord; make straight in the desert a highway for our God. Every valley shall be lifted up, and every mountain and hill be made low; the uneven ground shall become level, and the rough places a plain. And the glory of the Lord shall be revealed, and all flesh shall see it together, for the mouth of the Lord has spoken.”Isaiah 40:3-5
Activation:
Ask the Lord what is on His heart and where He sees crooked ways in you, around you, and in our nation. Then, begin to repent and cry out to God to make those places straight (reformed) for His glory to be revealed.Table Talk:
What does it mean to prepare the way of the Lord? -
Scripture:
Search me, O God, and know my heart! Try me and know my thoughts! 24And see if there be any grievous way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting!Psalm 139:23-24
Activation:
Search your heart and ask the Holy Spirit to reveal to you anything that grieves Him. Then ask Him this same question about other areas that come to mind and write them down. Ask Him how he wants you to pray, then refer back to this list often throughout your encounters.Table Talk:
How do you know what grieves the Lord? -
Scripture:
For am I now seeking the approval of man, or of God? Or am I trying to please man? If I were still trying to please man, I would not be a servant of Christ. Galatians 1:10Activation:
Similar to what we did yesterday, ask the Holy Spirit to reveal what pleases Him. Do this in your heart first and then with other areas that come to mind. Write them down and ask Him how he wants you to pray. Refer back to these lists often to pray through and add more of what you hear Him say.Table Talk:
What is one thing you can do today that you know would please the Lord? -
Scripture:
“Yet even now,” declares the Lord, “return to me with all your heart, with fasting, with weeping, and with mourning; 13and rend your hearts and not your garments.” Return to the Lord your God, for he is gracious and merciful, slow to anger, and abounding in steadfast love; and he relents over disaster.Joel 2:12-13
Activation:
Plan a day and time to go on a prayer walk-- in a neighborhood, government property, school ground, or a specific area of the city. Pray in the spirit, pray scripture, and pray in english as He directs you.Table Talk:
Where do you recognize the need for God to reform (make crooked ways straight) in your personal life, family, school, work, city, or nation? -
Scripture:
And I will lead the blind in a way that they do not know, in paths that they have not known I will guide them. I will turn the darkness before them into light, the rough places into level ground. These are the things I do, and I do not forsake them. 17 They are turned back and utterly put to shame, who trust in carved idols, who say to metal images, “You are our gods.”Isaiah 42:16-17

Evangelize. Share your story of what God has done in your life. You are reforming the earth when you share your faith.Table Talk:
Talk about what challenges you when sharing your faith with others. What are the thoughts and feelings you have? -
Scripture:
And I will vindicate the holiness of my great name, which has been profaned among the nations, and which you have profaned among them. And the nations will know that I am the Lord, declares the Lord God, when through you I vindicate my holiness before their eyes.Ezekiel 36: 23-24
Activation:
Pray over our nation's leaders and influencers. Read the scripture above out loud and then turn the scripture into prayer. Example: “Lord, vindicate your holiness!”, and then pause and listen for any direction He gives.Table Talk:
