Adoration
This week spend time as a family connecting with God through Adoration. Adoration is ministering to God’s heart through worship. Worshiping through melodies and songs ushers you deeper into the Lord’s presence. When we lavish love, awe, and affection upon Jesus, we are telling Him, “You are God and You alone are worthy of my worship.” Every thought, every lie, every spirit must go when we are in His presence!

Scripture:
Praise the Lord! Praise God in his sanctuary; praise him in his mighty heavens! Praise him for his mighty deeds; praise him according to his excellent greatness! Praise him with trumpet sound; praise him with lute and harp! Praise him with tambourine and dance; praise him with strings and pipe! Praise him with sounding cymbals; praise him with loud clashing cymbals! Psalm 150:1-6Activation:
Have you ever been around a new baby? We can agree that when anyone meets a newborn baby, they don’t start asking the baby for favors. Most, if not all people, change the tone of their voice and tell the baby how beautiful and how precious he/she is. We hear, “Oh, you’re so precious, aren't you? What a perfect little face, sweet little hands, and look at those perfect little toes.” This is a perfect example of what Adoration is!Spend some time in adoration of Father God by telling Him just how perfect His hands are. Tell Him how no one compares or competes with who He is. Don’t ask Him for anything, but in your own words, adore Him for who He is.
End your time of adoration by sharing what you heard/sensed the Holy Spirit saying.
Table Talk:
If Father God was the baby you were holding in your arms, what would you say to Him? In what ways would you tell Him He was perfect and like no other baby you have ever seen? -
Scripture: Yours, O Lord, is the greatness and the power and the glory and the victory and the majesty, for all that is in the heavens and in the earth is yours. Yours is the kingdom, O Lord, and you are exalted as head above all. 1 Chronicles 29:11
Activation: Using a journal or single sheets of paper, write a love letter to Father God dripping with adoration. If writing a song comes more easily, write a song! Pause and ask yourself, “When and how has Father God displayed His greatness in my life?”
Table Talk: If your family were to write a song to the Lord, what would it be? Enjoy writing it together!

Scripture: All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. John 1:3
Activation: The Bible tells us that nothing exists that He didn’t have something to do with. You were made by Him! As you sing today, picture His face. Without any hesitation, sing Him a love song.
Table Talk: What are your favorite characteristics or attributes of the Lord? Talk about that as a family.

Scripture: I will bless the Lord at all times; His praise will always be in my mouth. My soul will make its boast in the Lord; The humble will hear and be glad. O magnify the Lord with me, and let us exalt His name together. Psalm 34:1–3
Activation: Sing this scripture unto the Lord. Ask the Holy Spirit to give you the keys and lock eyes with the Father as you are led by Holy Spirit in a melody.
Table Talk: Try putting worship music on and individually write a letter to God. If there’s a desire, read them aloud as a family.

Scripture: Your lovingkindness, O Lord, reaches to the heavens, your faithfulness to the skies. Your righteousness is like the mountains of God; your judgments are like a great deep. O Lord, You preserve man and beast. How priceless is Your lovingkindness, O God! The children of men find refuge in the shadow of Your wings. For with You is the fountain of life; In Your light we see light. Psalm 36:5-7, 9
Activation: Take turns as a family answering the following questions after each verse: when has His lovingkindness been experienced in your life? What has He done to show you His faithfulness? Can you think of a time where God kept you from danger? How can you get into His shadow? Close your encounter time by responding to these moments with adoration. Don’t ask for anything, just adore Him.Table Talk: Does your family have a favorite worship song you love to sing together? If so, try putting it on in your home or in the car and pour your love for Jesus out TOGETHER as a family! If you don’t have one, this could be a fun experience as a family, to discover a worship song you all love.

Scripture:
Great is the Lord, and most worthy of praise in the city of our God, His holy mountain. We have meditated on Your unfailing love, O God, in the midst of Your temple. As is Your name, O God, so is Your praise to the ends of the earth; Your right hand is filled with righteousness. Psalm 48:1, 9–10Activation:
