ABOUT
HEATHER
Heather’s focus this past year was to prioritize family time, conversations, joy and to be “in the moment” with each other. She has enjoyed leading Payton in bigger conversations about life as she’s growing up. She loved listening to her children talk about their days, funny moments, dreams, struggles, and more. Stopping to listen was precious time as a family this year. In stewarding the word of expanding territory with an incredible team, Mercy Culture’s very first Marked Women’s Conference, where thousands of women gathered to encounter Jesus, was launched on June 24, the day Roe v. Wade was overturned, something Heather and many others had been praying for, for many years! At Marked Conference, Heather also relaunched her book, Unscarred, and it has brought deliverance and healing to so many. The Justice Residences broke ground, the curriculum for the Residences is in the final stages, and almost one hundred Advocates were raised up and have graduated so that every Survivor will have their own Advocate! It was a year that dreams from the last decade were birthed and began to expand Kingdom territory.
Landon’s personal goal this past year was to steward the prophetic word of expanding territory over his family even better than stewarding it over the church. He intentionally focused on his relationship with Heather, saying, “I feel like I’ve fallen in love with her all over again.” He is coaching his son’s sports team and having fun deepening the relationship between his boys. Consistent daddy-daughter dates have been a priority for keeping a close relationship with his daughter, Payton, as well as sweet conversations near bedtime. Landon has been so blessed this year by seeing the fruit of investing in spiritual leaders. From the Spiritual Leadership School to the pastors network, he has loved watching leaders grow in God. His greatest joy in life is feeling the pleasure of the Lord and he has determined in his heart to stay faithful to hear God and obey with his family and with Mercy Culture!
