Join The Pastoral Care Team

Be the hands and feet of Jesus by serving through prayer, encouragement, support, and practical ministry. If you have a heart to walk alongside others and help bring hope and healing, we’d love for you to join the Mercy Culture Care Team. Join in on our next orientation as it is a required step to be a part of the MC Care team. Please complete the registration to attend.

Is Care available to everyone?

Care is available exclusively to Mercy Culture members who have completed their MC Connect membership process, have been active members for a minimum of six months, and are faithfully serving and tithing as an expression of covenant partnership with this house.

  • The Care Serve Team are NOT licensed professional counselors. They are those who have been empowered and equipped for the work of the ministry to give wisdom and biblical counsel led by the Holy Spirit.

    • Our policy: to remain above reproach and maintain healthy accountability is that ALL private ministry sessions will be men with men, women with women and couples with couples.

Yes. A parent or guardian must fill out the ministry request for their child, and a team member will reach out to schedule an assessment.

Yes. Pre-Marital Ministry Requirements:
• At least one individual must be a Mercy Culture member
• At least one individual must have 6 months of active membership
• If one individual is not a member of MC, they should be an active member at another church
• Couple must attend every ministry session together
• Commitment to 6–8 counseling sessions

Note: Request should be submitted in enough time to complete 6-8 sessions before the wedding date.

Yes. Marriage Ministry Requirements:
• At least one individual must be a Mercy Culture member
• Couple must be in unity to pursue ministry support for their marriage
• Couple must attend every ministry session together

Financial assistance is intended to provide temporary support during genuine crises, and is generally limited to once within a 12-month period unless extraordinary circumstances exist.
Some things that we have been able to help people with in the past include:

  • Electricity
  • Connections to a food bank or clothing center

Some of the things that we are not designed to assist with include:

  • Rent & mortgage payments
  • Legal expenses
